This product is intended for chicks two weeks of age and older. Select a container that will not overcrowd the brooder setting and fill it with moistened dirt. Sprinkle seeds over the surface, cover 1/2 inch deep with additional dirt and water gently. Grasses are ready when the blades are at least a few inches tall (about 10-14 days after the first watering). Place container in brooder and allow pecking for a period of time. Remove Chick'n Greens from brooder, water, and allow re-growing for several days before serving again.
Tips: Keep container of Chick'n Greens moist but drained so that there isn’t any excess water. Be sure to provide a good light source - greens can be grown indoors or outside depending upon your geographical location. For a continued supply of healthy greens, grow multiple containers at a time, one week apart. When the greens no longer grow, discard and start again with a clean container, new seeds, and dirt.
Not intended for medical use. Not for human consumption. Keep out of reach of children.
