Sometimes you've just got to do what you've got to do and take matters into your own hands. I am specifically referring to our feathered ladies that need a little reminder that they do, in fact, lay eggs.
Occasionally, chickens decide to not lay eggs because of the weather and the lack of natural sunlight. Maybe you've got a new flock of pullets not laying eggs yet? Often after a shake-in the coop [predator attack, recent add-on of flock members, or a change in the pecking order, etc] egg laying changes.
Place these handy ceramic eggs in a nesting box or two and remind your ladies to do what they love to do.
We have pretty fake eggs that are stone too. You can find them here.
