Hello chicken pet parents!
There are some super rad chicken moms and dads out there on Instagram, who also happen to be customers!
So here's to highlighting a few of these cool chicken parents for you to follow on the squares this month!

Hot Off the Nest @hotoffthenest is a true chicken momma in every sense of the word. She’s raising a special needs cross beak girl named Crossley who requires syringe feeding 3-4 times a day - now that is dedication, and we love that don't we? Chicken tattoo and all!!
She also has her own breed that she’s created called Moonbeams. Gorgeous black combs & wattles.
And, and ahnnnnd she takes drinking with chickens to a whole new level, yes ma’am!
Tarah Harlin. Another dedicated chicken mom and overall very cool human being is @tarahharlin. She’s also quite the gardener and has a wicked sense of humor.
Garden? With chickens? YES! It's an oasis of heavenly everything and her chickens get almost full-access all.the.time.
Give her a follow. I promise she will not disappoint.
Goose Pond Homestead. @goose.pond.homestead - this chicken momma has over 20 in her flock and you can tell she loves each and every one! You’ll see one of her girls below rocking a very stylish sunflower chicken saddle (a helpful chicken poncho of sorts that protects hens who are a little too popular with the roosters if ya know what I mean, wink wink).
The Hens of Liberty. @thehensofliberty is another IG momma lovingly devoted to her flock, including giving an egg bound girl a little “spa treatment”. She says her girls “bring me sunshine even on rainy days”. Amen sister!
Marie and I are currently working on a few projects behind-the-scenes that will be included in online orders in the coming months.
Salt Goods. @saltgoods. Here’s a chicken momma who’s all about her chickens and homemade pies! I'm a big pie lover so it's a toss up on the reason I'm really following her: pies or chickens? Either or but certainly not for chicken-pie! [I did say that lol].
She says “love me, love my chickens” - we couldn't agree more! And anyone out there rocking a Birkenstock’s tan and loving that summer sunshine is alright with me.
The Dallas Cooper. Not to leave out the chicken Dads we have @thedallascooper a firefighter (thanks for your front-of-the-line devoted service) who clearly loves his flock and his houseplants! He says “his life has gone to the birds” and his motto is “be happy, it drives people crazy”. I love that!
Besides, he has a sweet little pullet that he has affectionately named Dell - and that my friends won this girls heart.
Portland Chickens. And last but certainly not least, we have another dedicated chicken Dad @portlandchickens. He clearly loves his girls and as an accomplished photographer he loves trying to get that perfect chicken photo. Which we all know is no easy feat! And, his chicken coop + run - stylin!
